A simple and delicious vegan chocolate sheet cake that is perfect for any occasion. Moist and rich with a deep chocolate flavor.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 30x20cm baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the soy milk and sunflower oil.
- Prepare the vegan egg replacer according to the package instructions.
- In another bowl, mix the sugar with the soy milk mixture until well combined. Add the prepared vegan egg replacer and mix until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Add vinegar and mix again. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, the cake can be frosted or enjoyed plain.
