Instructions

  2. Clean the button mushrooms and trim the stems. Put the in a bowl and add all the seasoning ingredients. Mix well so that all the mushrooms are evenly coated.
  3. Set up three separate bowls: one with gluten-free flour, one with chickpea flour mixed with water to create a batter, and one with gluten-free breadcrumbs
  4. Dredge each coated mushroom first in the gluten-free flour, then dip into the chickpea flour batter, and finally coat again with the seasoned gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  5. For the air fryer method: Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the coated mushrooms in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Spray the tops of the mushrooms with olive oil. Air fry for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
