Two delicious vegan pizzas with different toppings: one with kidney beans and the other with bell pepper and zucchini. These flavorful pizzas offer a variety of tastes and textures, perfect for satisfying different cravings. Easy to prepare and full of fresh ingredients, they're ideal for a fun and tasty meal. Enjoy this plant-based twist on classic pizza.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well. I'm using electric pizza oven for this recipe.
- Prepare the pizza dough according to your recipe.
- Prepare the marinated TVP soy granules according to your recipe.
- Thinly slice the onion, bell pepper, and zucchini. Drain and rinse the kidney beans.
- In a skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are translucent and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Roll out half of the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Spread half of the pizza sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle half of the sautéed onions over the tomato purée. Evenly distribute half of the marinated TVP soy granules over the onions. Sprinkle half of the shredded vegan mozzarella over the TVP soy granules. Top with the drained kidney beans and 1/2 of canned button mushrooms.
- Roll out the other half of the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Spread the remaining tomato purée evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the remaining sautéed onions over the tomato purée. Evenly distribute the remaining marinated TVP soy granules over the onions. Sprinkle the remaining shredded vegan mozzarella over the TVP soy granules. Top with the sliced bell pepper, zucchini and 1/2 of canned button mushrooms.
- Transfer the assembled pizzas to a baking sheet or preheated pizza stone. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy your delicious Vegan Pizzas Two Ways!
