Instructions

  1. Drain the tofu and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until they are golden brown on all sides, about 10-15 minutes. Remove the tofu from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add finely chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle rice flour over the onions and garlic, stirring well to coat.
  6. Gradually pour in vegan cooking cream, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  7. Add nutritional yeast, and all the seasonings. Stir well to combine.
  8. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  9. Return the cooked tofu to the pan, stirring to coat it well in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
