Instructions
- First prepare the marinated soy slices acording to the instructions in the recipe.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) if using the air fryer method. If using the oven method, preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up three separate bowls: one with 50 grams of gluten-free flour, one with 50 grams of chickpea flour mixed with 100 milliliters of water to create a batter, and one with 100 grams of gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each marinated soy slice first in the gluten-free flour, then dip into the chickpea flour batter, and finally coat with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- For the air fryer method: Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the coated soy slices in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Spray the tops of the soy slices with olive oil. Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- For the oven method: Place the coated soy slices on the prepared baking sheet. Spray the tops of the slices with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the crispy breaded soy slices hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as a main dish alongside vegetables or salad. Enjoy the crispy texture and delicious flavor!
