Instructions

  1. Prepare the chickpea spread according to recipe instructions.
  2. Remove crusts from each slice of bread.
  3. Cut each crustless bread slice into 4 equal squares.
  4. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  5. Wash, deseed, and very finely cut the red bell pepper.

  3. Place bread squares in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).

  7. Arrange bread squares on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Once toast points are completely cool, spread each with about 1 tablespoon of chickpea spread.
  2. For half of the canapes: place a cherry tomato half in the center.
  3. For the other half: arrange a small pinch of the julienned red peppers on top.
